Some other highlights are getting level 17 at level 2 using a fake level up glitch, half a second swoop races, sneak attack 9 with force jump scoundrel build, and skipping the entire phase 2 of the malak fight! (Felled with one mighty swoop)Īnyway, I hope some of you enjoy! In the meantime, I've been working on routing an All Quests category for the underrated Bioware gem Jade Empire! I've done two full runs now, and it is a super fun speedrun as well, but way less broken! (Curse you Mandalorian Stowaway, now get off my ship!) Hilarious side note, but if it weren't for the Mandalorian Stowaway Quest, we would be able to fully skip recruiting Zaalbar. We then do Duel Arena, Sith base, and finally finish lower city and the undercity at the very end of Taris. Then, when we finally visit the Bek base, we can begin the swoop races immediately and get Bastila. We are then able to pop into the garage, and get the swoop accelerator before ever meeting Gadon. This is one of the newest sequence breaks in the route, and ended up saving quite a lot of time. This allows us to do the rancor quest easily, and skips a lot of walking. Taris is a real treat, we are actually able to do Vulkar Base backwards, and enter the Sewers via the vulkar base instead of the undercity. Since I've began running/routing this category (with the help of other KOTOR speedrun community members), I've brought the World Record down from 2 hours and 21 minutes to 1 hour and 28 minutes. Trying to apply all the new glitches and skips to the category, while still preserving our Completed Journal, and making sure not to miss everything. This also means that we have been rerouting the All Quests category. This makes us so powerfully broken that we actually have to reign it in, otherwise we would just softlock the game constantly. These glitches basically allow us to mess with any trigger or cutscene in the game. KOTOR speedrunning has been evolving pretty rapidly ever since 2019, when a plethora of new glitches were discovered by the community. (Think tons of warps, dupes, invincibility, etc). However, in All Quests, you actually do ALL of the game, while still breaking the hecc out of it! It's a good time, and really shows what's possible in the vanilla version of this game. In Any% (Unrestricted) you don't get to see very much of the game, and the reason for that is because as previously mentioned, this game is incredibly broken. However, this speedrun is the All Quests (unrestricted) category, which means I will be completing every quest that appears in the Active Journal using as many glitches as possible! This is a really unique category for a few reasons. This lets us have a variety of categories (any%,All Quests) with different rulesets! (glitched, glitchless,no major glitches, etc) Whether youre looking to break open the game (because by golly this game is incredibly broken), or just play the game normally, there's gameplay for everyone. KOTOR is a gem of a speedrun, mostly because of how broken it is. To make things even better, he even goes as far as to juggle while running away from the game’s oversized crocodile.Hey everyone! I go by R4NG3 and am a speedrunner of KOTOR1-2. As he’s playing on PC, 7rayD is able to reach higher frame rates and dish out huge amounts of damage, greatly reducing the time needed to complete each boss encounter. To the untrained eye, it may seem like 7raD is merely showing off, but Resident Evil 2’s knife damage is tied to the system’s framerate. This speedrunner relies purely on his knowledge of the game’s map to quickly solve puzzles and traverse through the corridors of flesh-eating undead, while also using Leon’s knife to effortlessly take down the many menacing forms of William Birkin. However, Capcom’s remake of Resident Evil 2 is currently the game to watch and 7rayD is the latest speedrunner to hold the title, clocking in at an impressive 52m 10s. As a result, speedrunners have been drawn to Capcom’s grizzly zombie franchise ever since Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine graced our screens back in 1996.

Resident Evil games have always encouraged quick playthroughs, especially since each game invariably gives you a rank based off of your completion time.
